star with/opposite sb，表示“和某人联袂主演、演对手戏”。

比如在电影《封神》中，于适出演姬发的角色，可以说：

于适和那尔那茜演对手戏，可以说：

Yu Shi starred opposite Nashi in Creation of the Gods 2.

徐熙媛的突然离世令中国台湾和大陆观众震惊，许多人从她的职业生涯早期就开始看她的节目。在中国，关于她去世的消息在社交平台微博上迅速成为热搜话题。

trend此处是动词，表示“成为趋势”，结合文中语境，可以理解为“成为热搜话题”。此外，也可以说：

Hsu broke into the industry when as a teenager she formed a pop music group called S.O.S. with her sister Dee Hsu, popularly known as "Xiao S" or "Small S." The pair later switched to hosting TV shows and won many young fans.

徐熙媛年少时与妹妹徐熙娣（小S）组建了名为S.O.S的流行音乐团体，进军娱乐圈。之后转型主持电视节目，赢得了大量年轻粉丝。

break into the industry是“进入某个行业”的意思，break into和enter的区别是，break into自带一种气势，像一匹黑马一样杀入某处，而enter没有这种感情色彩。

break into的近义词有：

1）make one's way into

She made her way into the music industry with her unique voice and style.

她凭借自己独特的嗓音和风格进入了音乐行业。

2）enter

After years of hard work, he entered the world of film production as a director.

3）get into

4）penetrate

The company managed to penetrate the highly competitive smartphone market by offering cutting-edge features.

5）enter the field of

After completing her studies, she entered the field of environmental science and started working on conservation projects.

完成学业后，她进入了环境科学领域，开始从事保护项目。

be survived by

Hsu is survived by Koo and two children she shares with Wang.

徐熙媛的遗属包括丈夫具先生以及她和前夫生的两个孩子。

survive在这里的意思是“活得比谁长”，be survived by是个很地道的说法，表示后者比前者活得时间长，即前者去世了，而后者还在世，通常用于描述逝者的遗属或亲人。

文中这个句子，按字面翻译是：徐熙媛去世了，她的丈夫以及她和前夫生的两个孩子还在世。处理一下为：徐熙媛的遗属包括丈夫具先生以及她和前夫生的两个孩子。

《傲慢与偏见》中也出现了两处这种用法：
