I became an actor because I came from the audience. When I was 14 I watched a play at the National Theatre of London, at that time of my life, I felt very alone, and the play made me feel less alone, and I was very moved by. I looked around and I saw hundreds of thousands of people, who were also moved by. I released the performing art existed to connect people together, to make everyone feel the same, there’s more that we share as people than the things that divide us. So the idea, the work that I’ve done, can move and delight and entertain all sorts of people from different parts of the world, makes me feel so proud. Because that’s the reason I started acting.
