Russia's Ministry of Transport announced (25-Mar-2020) India authorised the operation of two services for the return of citizens. Aeroflot will repatriate 408 Russian citizens on Delhi-Moscow service and Rossiya - Russian Airlines will bring back 127 citizens on Goa-Moscow service on 25-Mar-2020. The Russian side is working on the return of citizens from Dubai, with the closure of UAE's airspace presenting challenges. The following special services are scheduled foe 26-Mar-2020 to 28-Mar-2020:
Mactan Cebu-Moscow: To operate on 26-Mar-2020 for the return of more than 500 Russian citizens;
Moscow-Lima-Varadero: To operate on 28-Mar-2020 for return of 524 Russian citizens;
Lisbon-Moscow: Final service to operate on 26-Mar-2020, offering capacity of 128 seats.

State organised repatriation services will operate until 27-Mar-2020. airBaltic will operate the last repatriation service on 30-Mar-2020.

The carrier is scheduled to operate 140 flights instead of 2900. Air Astana repatriated more than 37,500 citizens from 01-Mar-2020 to 23-Mar-2020. The carrier expects 40,000 citizens will have returned by the end of Mar-2020.

The 16 hour service will be the longest in the carrier's history. 1000 citizens of Israel are to be repatriated from Peru.
