Energy materials and eco-friendly materials are contributing to groundbreaking developments in the science of materials innovation and production. They play a key role in minimizing environmental impact, enhancing the recyclability of materials, increasing energy and material efficiency, and in increasingly important applications based on functional materials.

Due to the crucial role these materials are playing, we are pleased to contribute to the exchange of opinions, discussions, and solutions in Advanced Technology and Application of Energy Materials and Eco-friendly Materials, via a Special Issue in Materials Letters.
