日常交流中不可避免地会有一些需要拒绝别人的情况，这个时候我们只用 “No, thanks” 或者直白地 “No way”来回答对方，不免有些生硬。
今天来看看——如何委婉地用英语拒绝对方。
I'm good.
我们经常会在美剧中看到“I'm good” 这样的回答，意思是
“不用了，谢谢”。
比如：
A：Would you like some coffee?
B：
I'm good. Thanks.
A：要不要来点咖啡？
B：不需要，谢谢。
另外，还可以用在其他需要委婉地说“No”的场合。
比如，当有人问道“需要帮忙吗？”
如果我们想要婉拒别人的帮助
，则可以说“I'm good.”
（我现在还不需要。）
I can't tell you right now.
这句话用在——
有人想要打听一些信息，但我们没有权利、或不想告诉他
。
比如：
A:Have you decided who is going to be awarded the prize?
B: Yes, we have.
But I can't tell you right now.
A:Why not? Everybody wants to know.
B:You'll see in a few days.
A:你们决定谁得奖了吗?
B:是的，已经决定了。但是我现在不能把名字告诉你。
A:为什么不能?大家都想知道。
B:再过几天你就知道了。
同样地，在上述的对话中，"
You'll see in a few days"
也是一句委婉拒绝对方要求的常用表达。
但 "
You'll see.
"
——这句话的意思是
“等着瞧”
。
I don't feel like…
这句话是
“我没有很想要”
的意思，后面跟动词的ing形式。
当你和朋友玩的正嗨，麻麻喊你回家吃饭......又或者是，你和男朋友逛街，他说是不是该回家了.......
这些情况下，就可以用这个句型。
例如：
A：Isn't it time to go to home?
B：
I don't feel like leaving yet.
A：我们是不是该回家了？
B：我现在还不想走呢。
I'll think about it.
"I'll think about it."——我再考虑一下。
有人一直推荐你推销、推荐某些东西，但你不想要。这时候就可以说—— I'll think about it.
比如：
A：You look so good with it on! I can give a discount if you really want one.
B：
Thank you, but I'll think about it.
A：你穿上它真的很漂亮！如果想要的话我会给你打个折扣。
B：谢谢你，但我还是再看看吧。
I am not interested.
这句话，也可以用来拒绝推荐或者推销。
直接说，会有点不太礼貌。一般会在前面加一句
"I am sorry. "
，可以使回答变的礼貌委婉。
所以礼貌一点的说法是：
Sorry. I am not interested.
A：This is our latest model. And we have a rush on this one!
B：Sorry. I am not interested.
A：这是我们的最新款，而且非常畅销！
B：不好意思，我没什么兴趣。
除了在前面加“sorry”，也可以换一种表达——
"Other people might be interested."
其他人可能会感兴趣。言下之意，就是说“我自己没兴趣。”
I'd love to, but…
这个句型其实就是“虽然，但是…”——虽然我很想…但是因为其他原因。
在拒绝的同时，也带有一点点的遗憾。
表示自己是迫不得已。
例如：
A：Come and join the party！
B：
I'd love to, but I've had a few things come up.
A：来参加这个派对吧！
B：我很想去，但是我手头有些事情要做。
I am really not in the mood.
这句话的意思是——
我实在没什么心情
。
当别人邀请你出去玩，或者不想去参加某个活动，就可以诚挚表示自己的意愿。
想要更加委婉的话，可以在前面加一句
I am sorry
。
A：Do you wanna hang out this weekend?
B：Thanks for asking,
but I am really not in the mood.
A：想不想周末出去玩？
B：谢谢你的邀请，但我实在没什么心情。
I'm not ready to…
“我还没准备好做…”也是一种委婉表达拒绝的方式。
比如，有个不错的男孩子向你告白，但你对他没感觉、或现在不想fall in love，
我们就可以说：
I'm flattered that you asked, but
I'm not ready to
start a relationship right now.
你会这么问让我很是受宠若惊，但我现在还没有准备谈恋爱。
That isn't my strong suit.
suit作名词，有诉讼、西装等意思。但"That isn't my strong suit."这句话的意思是，
那不是我的强项
。
假如有人需要你做一些你不擅长，或者你跟本不想做的工作，
那么我们就可以说——
Sorry, that's not my strong suit.
