We are recruiting an intern in China team.
Responsibilities:
In the role you would be expected to:
Be part of a team responsible for growing international advertising, sponsorship and research business in China across new industries, geographies and clients
Develop new business and search new client contacts
Provide industry and company research, corporate contacts and help executing lead generation campaigns
Collect client monitoring reports, industry news and event searches
Qualifications:
To succeed in the role you must have:
University student
Experience of business in China with Chinese companies essential
New client development experience essential
Experience working for international company in China preferred
Good phone manner when making cold calls and ability to write concise introductory emails
Ability to articulate the concepts of advertising and thought-leadership development as a branding strategy
Strong general business, political and current affairs knowledge
Ability to converse and ask questions around a broad range of topics will increase the success of this role
IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, customer database)
Specific software packages or other technical IT skills
Native level Mandarin, written and spoken
Fluency in English with good written skills – essential for intra-group communication and building sales ex China
You will be able to demonstrate:
Strong presence, good presentation skills and rapport with clients of various levels of seniority
Independent and resourceful personalities with commitment to be a team player who used to sharing accounts and information with colleagues
Ability to be a results-oriented and self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed
Good time management skill to meet target and deadlines with minimal supervision
Technical competency and curiosity with the ability to grasp and articulate new business and technology paradigms
