20-21 以色列的长子，流便子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，被数的男丁，共有四万六千五百名。

From the descendants of Reuben the firstborn son of Israel: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, one by one, according to the records of their clans and families.The number from the tribe of Reuben was 46,500.

22-23 西缅子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，被数的男丁，共有五万九千三百名。

From the descendants of Simeon: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, one by one, according to the records of their clans and families.The number from the tribe of Simeon was 59,300.

24-25 迦得子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，被数的，共有四万五千六百五十名。

34-35 玛拿西子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，被数的，共有三万二千二百名。

42-43 拿弗他利子孙的后代，照着家室，宗族，人名的数目，从二十岁以外，凡能出去打仗，被数的，共有五万三千四百名。

44 这些就是被数点的，是摩西，亚伦，和以色列中十二个首领所数点的。这十二个人各作各宗族的代表。

45-46 这样凡以色列人中被数的，照着宗族从二十岁以外，能出去打仗，被数的，共有六十万零三千五百五十名。

摩西、亚伦以及代表各宗族的十二位领袖，数点除了利未支派之外，以色列十二支派的男丁人数。他们按照家室、宗族、人名数目，数点二十岁以上，能够出去打仗的子孙人数，结果总共有六十万零三千五百五十名。

4.经文解释

各支派的人数（1:20-44）
家族繁荣昌盛，是蒙神祝福的表征。摩西、亚伦和十二位领袖按照耶和华的吩咐，数点各支派人数。一个支派究竟兴旺或衰微，是从雅各的遗嘱开始（创49章）犹大虽是雅各的第四个儿子，但其子孙人数最多：长子流便与父亲的妾辟拉同寝(创35：22），因而受到雅各的咒诅；西缅和利未也在示剑让雅各陷入困境(创34：25一30），故此长子权的名分就归给约瑟，犹大则是君王的祖先(代上5：1~2）。约瑟的子孙分成以法莲和玛拿西两个支派，他们按照雅各的遗嘱得着祝福，人数有着惊人的成长，这两个支派合起来，就仅次于犹大支派。按照宗族作人口调查，不仅让他们确认，他们是属神的圣洁子民，也清楚显明了祖先的生活，对后代子孙造成什么样的影响。

默想1:雅各的遗嘱和各支派人数有何关联？今日我在生活中作出的选择，会为后代子孙带来什么影响？
被数点的总人数（1:45-46）
以神为中心时，即使不同，也能彼此合而为一。以色列人在埃及以奴隶身份，度过了四百三十年受压迫的生活；他们原先在雅各带入埃及时的人口数只有七十人(出 1：5)，如今却成为单单是二十岁以上的男丁，就超过六十万人的民族，正如神对亚伯拉罕的应许，他的后裔要成为「大国」(创12：2)，因着神的保护与恩典形成不同的支派、家室与宗族；并成为「耶和华的军队」。基督的身体——教会则超越了以色列十二支派，也与外邦人联合成为一体，是既多元又具一致性的蒙恩共同体。

默想2:一开始以色列人只有七十人，如今二十岁以上的男丁就超过六十万人，这告诉我们什么？即使不同，也能彼此联合并具一致性的秘诀是什么？

5.今日祷告

神啊，很多时候，我希望自己见到的人都能像我一样；若不相同，就觉得他们是错的，并感到不高兴。求祢帮助我放下狭隘与偏见，为神国接纳彼此的不同，并努力让彼此的[不同]，联合成为美丽的共同体。

默想散文

合而为一的心

第二次世界大战期间，英军有一个部队在荒野被敌军重重包围，士兵们又热又渴，极其痛苦。当时他们所剩下的，就只有绑在小队长腰间的一瓶水壶。小队长以悲怆的心情打开水壶，交给士兵们。弟兄们轮流喝水壶里的水，最后轮到小队长时，他大吃一惊，因为里面的水竟然还剩下超过一半。原来，士兵们各个都顾虑到后面口渴的战友，所以只沾湿嘴唇就递给下一个人。超过半满的水壶带给士兵们全新的力量与希望，他们各人皆领悟到战友和自己站在同一阵线且生死与共，最后他们因而胜过困难，撑到援军抵达。

就算处于绝望的境地，我们所抱持的态度，会带来截然不同的结果。重视彼此、主动支援，并且相互体恤的服侍态度，最能感动人心，这会让共同体合而为一。合乎神话语的成熟态度可以感动人，让共同体的成员们都感到幸福。

·以服侍和顺服建立幸福的教会

神不会看人外貌，他并未要求我们得救必须具备任何外在条件。

6.一节默想

民数记1:45~46 | 若连老弱妇孺和利未支派一起计算，以色列民族应超过二百万人。从亲族七十人开始的团体（出1:5），却在数百年间成为一个民族。这么庞大的人数是神赐福给以色列，并成就与亚伯拉罕所立之约的结果，同时也是给他们能征服迦南地的确信。在神里面，能化不可能为可能。
