role
purpose
|
The purpose of this position is to:
-
Works directly with customer, program manager, and Engineering Teams to assure program information flow and direction. Individual possesses in depth knowledge of product design, engineering, manufacturing, tooling and processing.
-
Take joint efforts with engineering team to ensure execution of programs and optimize engineering direction to meet manufacturing, engineering and customer objectives.
-
Solve complex technical issue and optimize engineering design to meet manufacturing, engineering and customer objectives.

To understand customer requirement,conceptualize the product, then design to meet optimized manufacturing andcustomer objectives.

To work with customer, EngineeringManager to assure system information flow and direction.

To ensure customer complaints arehandled effectively.

To deal with complex technical issueand give technical advice to project team.

To study and ensure best of besttechnical projects for assigned technical area.

To appraise new technicaltrends/solutions and investigate the feasibility.

To deliver technical support ortraining to colleagues.

To ensure effective compliance withlaid down Quality System.
-
To look after business opportunitieswith the customer/suppliers they are dealing with.
-
To coordinate Prototyping &Product Validation testing activities.
-
Any other duties / functions assignedfrom time to time by the Management.

Qualification
]
-
University degree with major in engineering design and 6 years related working experience;master degree with 4+ years is also fine.
-
Experiencedin passenger vehicle seating industry.
-
Knowledgeof DFMEA.
-
Knowledgeof issue analysis and problem resolve.
-
UnderstandDFM/DFA analysis.
-
GD&Tanalysis skill.
-
CATIAability.
-
Goodcommunication skills, team work and can work collaboratively.
-
Learningagility with passion to win.
-
Goodsense of innovation, custom focus and business.
-
ProperEnglish skill, can communicate either write or speak.
