Conference Academic Sessions – Two stages of Submission
Abstract (500 words maximum) of the paper MUST be sent by email to

on or before
10 February 2021.
Acceptance of the abstract will be notified on or before
17 February 2021
. Abstract should include the research question, key findings and contribution to the literature by stating why the study is important and what is new.
If the abstract is accepted, then authors should submit their full papers by email to
[email protected]
on or
before 28 February 2021. They will need to submit two copies of their papers
in pdf format; one with authors' information provided and the other without this information. They should indicate at the time of submission whether they would like their paper to be considered for one of the best paper awards. They may only choose one Award category.
Five Conference Best Paper awards ($500 each)
One best paper award will be presented under each of the following categories
a. Accounting Information/ Disclosure Practices/Earnings Quality/Audit Fees
b. Asset Pricing/Financial Markets/Market Microstructure/Funds Management
c. Banking/Behavioural Finance/Corporate Finance/Financial Economics
d. Governance/ Corporate Culture/Social Responsibility
e. Emerging Markets
If the paper is accepted, the presenting author is expected to act as a discussant in his/her field of research. The p
resenting author
should mention in his/her email at least two areas in which he/she can serve as a discussant. If the paper is accepted and if the presenting author does not select his/her areas of expertise, he/she will be assigned to serve as a discussant at the discretion of the conference chair.
If anyone submits more than one paper and multiple papers area ccepted for presentation, please ensure that a co-author is available and willing to present and serve as a discussant for the other paper (s) at the conference.
SELECTION CRITERIAFOR CONFERENCE BEST PAPER AWARDS
Members of the selection committee will assess all papers on the basis of their rigour, relevance and potential contribution to the literature.
