See if this sounds familiar:
It is one day before the weekend, you are very excited and thinking:
“This weekend will be so productive! I can not wait to start writing that book I have been planning forever now, I might even go running early in the morning, I could probably fix the fence too, oh and I should definitely visit grandparents, I can not remember the last time I saw them, maybe I should pick some groceries from the supermarket and cook dinner for the family…”
But deep down you know very well that your entire schedule for the weekend consists of:
-
Laying down in bed in your sweatpants all day.
-
Eating junk food.
-
Wasting your time on the Internet.
-
And feeling regretful the next Sunday night.

Guilty as charged.
One trick is to always include 1–3 of them in your
weekend to-do list
as you would on a weekday. It has helped me a lot in terms of keeping myself accountable and
pushing myself to do something
interesting during the weekend!

Ok, that's it. I don't know where you are hiding in my house but you need to leave right now. You've obviously been spying on me.
