Job Responsibilities:
1.
Work closely with the Regional Manager to understand BCU
China Office core business objectives. Set targets and prepare appropriate plans to achieve these.
2.
Plan, implement and deliver a full range of marketing activities across the region mix of marketing and communications channels, encompassing digital, public relations, internal communications, alumni relations, events and stakeholder engagement, both remotely and through in-country activity.
3.
Ensure activities are aligned with University and Departmental strategic objectives.
4.
Work with the Regional Manager to set key performance indicators for China recruitment and take responsibility for delivering against these.
5.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on market size and market trends and developments for your designated region.
6.
Maintain an intelligence led approach to planning and delivering marketing and communications activity.
7.
Contribute to the development of the academic portfolio, pricing, marketing and student recruitment strategies by preparing analysis and reports using market and competitor data, survey results and enquiry and admissions data.
8.
To be responsible for liaising with external customers (British Council, partnership institutions, and agents) and internal customers
(Faculties, Accommodation Services etc.)
9.
Represent the university overseas through various activities including; exhibitions, partner presentations, conversion events and agent representative visits etc.
10.
To be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the International recruitment process in line with University and UKVI regulations.
11.
Work closely with colleagues from the wider International Office teams to ensure that plans and activities are aligned, including admissions strategy, English language provision, partnership activity, and mobility.
12.Organise and deliver events for external audiences in support of the University’s recruitment objectives in China, and support other recruitment activities as required.
