Job Title: Polymerization engineer
Location: Shanghai
Job Description:
•Build the needed lab polymerization capability in Shanghai lab.
•Develop the new F-polymer aligned with business needs.
•Explore lab new polymerization process for new F-polymer.
•Track the newest technology for F-polymer both from industries and from academia.
•Generates in-depth polymerization knowledge for F-polymer.
•Working with application engineer to develop new application for new F-polymer.
•Provide direction and coach for technicians.
•Drive new ideation and invention disclosures.
Qualifications:
•PhD (>3 years working experience) or Experienced master (>8 years related field experience) in organic chemistry, polymer science/engineering, material science/engineering or related background.
•Advanced knowledge in organic chemistry/polymer/material science and technology.
•Strong background in F-polymer polymerization is preferred.
•Working experience in polymer plant, especially in F-polymer plant, is highly preferred.
•In-depth knowledge on development process, material characterization/test. Being familiar with DOE is preferred
•Good project management and prioritization skills.
•Good team player, demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
•Strong execution capability.
•Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
