三季度免签入境外国人同比上升78.6%

国家移民管理局18日发布2024年三季度移民管理工作主要数据。三季度，全国移民管理机构累计查验出入境人员1.6亿人次，同比上升30.1%；全国各口岸入境外国人818.6万人次，同比上升48.8%；其中，通过免签入境488.5万人次，同比上升78.6%。

国家移民管理局将持续优化完善过境免签等政策措施，扩大活动范围、增加联动区域、优化开放布局，进一步提高政策的含金量、吸引力，积极会同有关部门提升外国人来华在华便利度。

China has seen a surge of entry from foreigners during the third quarter this year, statistics from the National Immigration Administration showed.

During this period, more than 8.18 million foreigners entered China through ports across the country, a year-on-year increase of 48.8 percent, the administration revealed at a news conference on Friday.

Among these people, the number of foreigners entering China visa-free increased by 78.6 percent to more than 4.88 million.

China's immigration management authorities have seen a total of 160 million people entering and exiting the country during the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 30.1 percent.
