Nestled within Reserva Santa Fe, Pabellon de la Reserva emerges as a testament to a balanced way of life—an existence centered around the intimate embrace of nature, all conveniently situated just minutes away from the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. The 263 square metre structure sits low alongside the lake, anchored by reinforced concrete foot foundations that reach into the wet ground, and, where the structure's patio extends, into the lake itself. It has a structure made mostly of recycled steel, with low-hanging eves painted green to help it blend into the environment。
The basis of the reserved area is a subtle field with cantilevered eaves that blend into the surrounding context. The boundaries of the building are subtly blurred, depicting the natural landscape in a subtle way. The architectural structure not only defines the space but also establishes a harmonious rhythm with the surrounding environment, creating a tranquil and airy atmosphere that invites people to participate in the beauty of the environment.
