Job Responsibility:

1. Ocean/air import operation and documentation handling

2. Arrange truck dispatch and follow-up

3. Coordinate with overseas agents and customers

Requirement:

1. Minimum 1-year experience in forward, warehouse or shipping company

2. English / Mandarin speaking (prefer)

Job Location: Bridgeport, Chicago

Job description:

- Receive pre-alert, create file, and gather necessary documentation/information.

- Make all arrangements for LCL and FCL cargo.

- Trace cargo and send arrival notices to consignees and/or brokers.

- Work with Customs broker to file ISF, ensure clearance, and coordinate final delivery.

- Collect freight payment and OBL prior to authorizing release of cargo.

- Maintain quotes, costs and profit information for each file.

- Address and resolve discrepancies and problems in a timely manner.

- Communicate with clients, origin offices/agents, ocean carriers/steamship lines, rail companies, brokers, drayage/trucking companies, warehouses, and other vendors to facilitate smooth transportation of cargo.

- Receive POD.

- Invoicing/billing/closing files.
