Two postdoctoral positions for computational chemistry and biophysics are open in Professor Han's lab at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (http://web.pkusz.edu.cn/han/). Our major research scheme is the development and application of novel molecular simulation methods to investigate key biomolecular processes like protein-protein interaction, protein-ligand/inhibitor binding and protein aggregation. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in biophysics, physical chemistry, computational chemistry or closely related disciplines and have experience with computer simulations of biological systems and in code development. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
1) Enhanced sampling methods applied to biomolecular systems,
2) Biomolecular force field development,
3) Development of analysis methods to model dynamics and kinetics of bimolecular systems and
4) Application of molecular simulation methods to the study of protein-protein/ligand interaction.
The positions are open on June 1st, 2017 and will be available until filled.
Annual compensation will depend on experience plus benefits. Initial appointments will be for two years with the possibility of renewal. Moreover, successful candidates will be eligible for BOTH the Postdoctoral fellowship (RMB 240,000 for two years) AND the Peacock fellowship (RMB 1.6 million for five years) awarded by ShenZhen Government. BOTH awards are tax-free.
In order to apply, please send a CV and selected publications to Dr. Han via [email protected]
