About Speaker - Michael Norton

A ‘serial social entrepreneur’. In 2001, Michael conceived and co-founded UnLtd: the foundation for social entrepreneurs in the UK, which received an endowment of £100 million from the UK Lottery. UnLtd supports some 2,000 early-stage social entrepreneurs a year. Michael then replicated this foundation in India and South Africa. Michael is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cape Town business school and a Professor at the China Global Philanthropy Institute in Shenzhen.

著名英国连续社会创新家，英国官佐勋章 (OBE) 获得者，欧洲社会创新教父。诺顿曾经是一位科学家、银行家， 40 多年来一直致力于支持公益组织的发展，寻找更创新的行动方法，鼓励公众立刻行动起来改变世界。 1993 年的时候 , Michael 为英国 6 家社会企业机构深入研究社会企业的连锁经营的可能性召开全国会议并发表了一本有关 “ 慈善特许经营 ” 的手册。 1995 年创立了志愿行动创新中心 (CIVA) 推动公益事业的创新发展，并成功复制了一系列社会企业，其中包含由青年人运营的基金会“青年银行” (Youth Bank) ，南亚地区针对流浪儿的“儿童发展银行”（ Children`s Development Bank ），和为困境儿童紧急救助搭建的“印度儿童热线” (ChildLine India) 。
