Network Leadership Team

Mohamed Kande


Serving as the Global Chairman of PwC, Mohamed leads an integrated Network Leadership Team which brings together more than 370,000 people across a network of firms in 149 countries and territories.


For more than 20 years, Mohamed has assisted clients in identifying value and orchestrating large-scale business-led transformations, encompassing strategy through to tangible outcomes.


Prior to becoming Global Chairman, Mohamed Kande served as the US & Global Advisory Leader at PwC. He also served as the CEO of the combined PwC consulting businesses in the US, Mexico and Japan.


During his time as Global Advisory Leader, Mohamed played a pivotal role in steering the network’s alliance strategy and has served as the executive sponsor for key capability investments such as Gen AI, managed services and business model reinvention.

Petra Justenhoven


Petra is the Senior Partner and Chair of the Management Board at PwC Europe and PwC Germany, as well as a member of the PwC Network Leadership Team.


She finds it incredibly rewarding and motivating to see individuals and teams work together to create trusted and sustainable futures for clients, businesses, PwC network members and the communities they serve.


As a certified tax advisor and public accountant, Petra is actively involved in several German professional organisations, including the Administrative Council of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany, Incorporated Association (IDW), the Board of the Schmalenbach-Gesellschaft, and the Supervisory Board of Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe.


Petra is an avid supporter of PwC Shine, a global network fostering inclusion for LGBTQ+ colleagues and advocates, and she helped to establish the Women@PwC mentorship programme at PwC Germany.

Marco Amitrano


Marco joined the UK Executive Board in 2016 as Head of Consulting, before becoming the firm’s Head of Clients & Markets in 2020 and Managing Partner in 2022.


He has more than 30 years of international experience in Advisory and Assurance services at PwC, and his previous leadership roles also include Global and UK Head of the Risk Assurance Services business.


During his career, he has worked with a number of major global clients in a range of industries, most prominently in the Technology, Engineering and Consumer Products sectors, as well as spending time in Transaction Services and Business Recovery Services. He has advised on and led the delivery of several complex projects and longer-term transformation programmes across a broad agenda, from process improvement and controls implementation to more strategic, M&A-driven and tech-enabled business model change.


He is a fully accredited Chartered Management Consultant as well as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW. He has also served on the board of British American Business.

Paul Griggs


A nearly 30-year PwC veteran, Paul has advised and supported companies through significant change, such as transformations, public offerings, acquisitions and divestitures.


Prior to being elected US Senior Partner, he served as Vice Chair of US Markets, overseeing the strategy and execution of the US firm’s commercial, people, community and quality efforts across 90+ offices. He has also served as the Banking & Capital Markets Leader; Managing Partner for the New York Metro region, PwC’s largest office and geography; and Financial Services Assurance Leader in the Carolinas.


Passionate about building skills and opportunities for all, Paul served as the business sponsor and co-leader of My+, the US firm’s people strategy that empowers its 75,000 people to develop and grow their careers and includes upskilling the entire workforce on AI.


He sits on the Governing Board and Financial Oversight Committee of the Center for Audit Quality. Paul is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Jobs CEO Council.


Outside of work, Paul is a proud husband and dedicated father of three. He enjoys travelling, reading and exploring the great outdoors in his leisure time.

Scott Berryman


Scott is an experienced audit partner. Working with boards, management and regulators, he has a wealth of experience working in London, New York, Hong Kong and Sydney with large and complex listed groups, many of which have US listings with SOx requirements.

Scott has led key relationships with multinational organisations in financial services and retail, including provision of audit, assurance and sustainability reporting work.


Scott lives with his wife and three daughters in South East London.

Marc Borggreven


Marc is a Dutch partner with a background in tax services and currently focuses on workforce transformation.


He has more than 25 years of experience with PwC and has held various senior leadership positions in the Dutch tax practice, Dutch leadership team and PwC Europe Executive Management Team.


As the Global Human Capital Leader, Marc directs strategic initiatives for the PwC network which promote working together, equity and belonging, and which set a standard for leadership and reinvention. He also serves as a Workforce Transformation partner with several listed multinational clients.


Marc is married and enjoys spending time with his three daughters. Aligned to his own personal commitment to wellbeing, he takes pride in serving as a role model for sustainable high performance. He loves hiking, skiing, reading and road cycling.

Wes Bricker


As PwC’s Global Assurance Leader, Wes brings together the combined impact of 137,000 partners and staff across the PwC network through innovative, high-quality assurance solutions delivered to the firm’s clients around the world.


Wes brings an extensive track record of leadership in the global capital markets and the public accounting profession. Previously, he held the role of PwC US Vice Chair and Trust Solutions Co-Leader, where he had oversight of the US firm’s combined Audit, ESG, Digital Assurance and Tax Reporting practices. Earlier in his career, Wes served as the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Chief Accountant, where he was the principal advisor to the Commission on accounting and auditing matters. He also served as Chair for the Monitoring Group, a consortium of regulatory and international financial organisations committed to advancing the public interest in international audit standard setting and audit quality.


Wes is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia; and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He sits on the board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and chairs the board of XBRL International.

Michelle Gronning


Michelle leads the alignment and coordination of our global PwC Network transformation efforts. With more than 25 years of experience in various industries and consulting roles, across both the private and public sectors, Michelle has a track record of helping business leaders navigate their most complex challenges to deliver sustained outcomes. She has led multiple large-scale business-led, technology-enabled transformations, and she excels at fostering deep relationships based on trust and collaboration.


Before becoming the Global Chief Transformation Officer, Michelle served as PwC Canada’s National Consulting Leader and was a member of the firm’s Extended Leadership Team. During her four-year tenure, the Canadian Consulting practice achieved unprecedented growth across innovative areas such as Cyber, ESG, Cloud and Data and Technology, as well as significant growth in key industries including Banking, Utilities, Private Equity, and Pensions and Government.


Michelle is also passionate about inclusion and diversity, as shown through her support of various inclusion networks, her championing of PwC’s Inclusive Mindset learning and her executive sponsorship of PwC’s “Women in Tech” initiative.


Michelle lives in Toronto with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with close friends and engaging in various outdoor activities.

Alison Hoover


As Global Chief Administrative Officer & Network Operations Leader, Alie drives PwC’s strategic planning and investments, strategic cost management, strategic combinations and integrations, and technology enablement.


Alie has more than 25 years of experience serving clients across a range of industries with a focus on financial services and the public sector. Alie’s expertise lie in technology-enabled strategy, governance and portfolio management, and large-scale, multidisciplinary programme management.


She has previously served as the US Financial Services Transformation practice team leader, the US Consulting Diversity and Inclusion leader, and was a member of the US Consulting Leadership Team.


She lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband, two daughters and three dogs.

Christopher Kelkar


Prior to his current role, Chris held various leadership positions, including Global Alignment Leader, Global Strategy Leader, and US Strategy Leader and International Liaison. Chris was also the co-leader of the PwC US Fraud, Risk & Controls practice.


Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. He has served on various not-for-profit charitable organisation boards and was a member of Transparency International's Business Principles Steering Committee.

Damir Maras


As Global Advisory Leader, Damir embodies a visionary perspective on leadership that revolves around his core beliefs: delivering exceptional value for PwC’s clients, strengthening our collaboration, and driving innovation.


Damir acknowledges the imperative necessity for change in our disruptive world. He empowers individuals through inventive and client-centric solutions, operating within a truly global set-up. His ambition is to drive meaningful change for clients, being the trusted partner for organisations seeking transformation, growth and sustainable success.


He is known for his collaborative and inclusive leadership style, highlighting the importance of a team and giving prominence to the collective instead of specific individuals.


Prior to his current role, Damir gained invaluable experience in his more than 25 years with PwC. Starting as part of Management Consulting Finance, Damir has played a pivotal role in shaping the consulting business and contributing to the development of the Advisory line of service in various roles within EMEA, Europe and Germany.


Outside of his professional career, he is a dedicated family man, being married and having three children. He takes great pride in his Croatian heritage and enjoys spending time in Croatia, and finds passion in sailing and cooking.

James Shira


James is recognised for his visionary leadership, decisive action and his experience spearheading transformative enterprise-level technology and security initiatives for global businesses.


Since joining PwC in 2015 as Chief Information Security Officer, James has been at the forefront of strengthening and enhancing our technology estate. He played a pivotal role in developing the US and global information security function, effectively securing the network’s technology infrastructure and services, reducing vulnerabilities, and instilling trust in the technology we use to secure data and deliver services to our clients across PwC’s network of firms.


In 2018, he assumed leadership of global technology and initiated a multi-year technology transformation strategy. This work strengthened and modernised PwC’s technology infrastructure and services, empowering our member firms to achieve their business objectives, navigate unforeseen events, and embrace innovative technology to deliver results at an accelerated pace.


James has more than 20 years of experience leading multiple security and technology transformation and modernisation programs for large organisations. He thrives on tackling large-scale challenges, integrating emerging technologies to enable business strategies and leading and inspiring teams.


James lives in California with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys restoring and driving vintage cars.

Brad Silver


As the global leader of PwC’s Tax & Legal Services (TLS) business, Brad focuses on strategic growth, quality and risk management. He leads more than 56,000 people in 142 countries around the network, providing key business expertise to help our clients solve complex and important problems.


Brad’s client experience includes working with large public and private multinational corporations, across a range of industries, including Financial Services and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT).

Brad is known for his relentless focus on driving quality solutions and doing so in a manner that is consistent with our purpose and values, as well as with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements. He spearheaded the refresh of PwC’s Global Tax Code of Conduct which sets out the core principles of what we stand for in Tax—what we do, who we act for and how we act—when providing clients with objective and high-quality tax advice.

Prior to this role, Brad was the managing partner and COO of PwC’s global TLS business, the New York office managing partner, the New York Metro regional tax leader and the global TMT leader.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs.

Brad has a strong commitment to philanthropy; he is a board trustee of Children’s Aid and a national advisory board member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Netter Center for Community Partnerships.

A proud father of three sons, Brad resides in New York City with his wife.

Carol Stubbings


Carol is passionate about client experience and working with others to deliver quality services and build trusted client relationships. With more than 25 years of experience working with large multinational organisations, Carol supports clients with an array of strategic and complex challenges across different geographies and cultures.


Carol champions inclusion and diversity, is the Executive Sponsor for PwC’s “New world. New skills” global initiative, and led PwC’s thinking around the Workforce of the Future. Her recent work includes advising clients on global transformation, talent and culture change programmes, and opportunities from market disruptors and innovations.


Carol has more than 15 years of experience in global leadership roles. Prior to taking on her current role, she held the roles of Global Markets Leader and Global Tax & Legal Services Leader.


Outside of work, Carol enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her husband and three children.

Pierre Sur


As Global Chief Network Officer, Pierre is primarily responsible for PwC’s global strategy and development as well as PwC’s Global Corporate Affairs and Communications.


With more than 30 years of experience spanning multiple continents, Pierre brings big-picture strategic thinking and devises practical and pragmatic solutions to complex, technical problems. He has extensive experience in the areas of audit, mergers and acquisitions, integration, divestitures, investment strategy & valuations, business process design and effectiveness, internal controls, and outsourcing.


As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Pierre supports clients with digital and finance transformation, including the adoption and implementation of US and international accounting standards, and the management of other regulatory matters.


Prior to serving as the Global Chief Network Officer, Pierre was a partner in the PwC US Assurance practice with a primary focus on Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) companies. During his career at PwC, he also served in several leadership roles. Most notably, as PwC US’s Assurance Innovation & Technology Leader, a member of the US Assurance Leadership Team, and the US TMT and Global Communications Industry Leader.

Nicki Wakefield


Recognised as one of the leading strategic thinkers of complex organisation and people change, Nicki is admired by her clients as a practical, hands-on advisor and implementer.


She has spent her career focused on the execution of business and technology strategy through helping clients make it real for their people. With more than 30 years of experience in consulting and industry, Nicki has worked with clients in industries as diverse as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Mining, Public Sector and Consumer Goods. Nicki’s specialisation is in the organisation and people components of business transformation and reinvention—specifically, organisation design, leadership, culture and people.

Diana Weiss


Diana is the Global General Counsel for the PwC network. She leads international teams of professionals who support the PwC network with expertise in ethics, compliance, regulatory matters, litigation, investigations, counselling, governance, corporate and technology transactions, data, intellectual property and commercial contracting.


She and her team prioritise listening to their external stakeholders, promoting an ethical culture in line with PwC’s Purpose and Values, enhancing governance, and enabling the strategy in all that they do.


Prior to joining PwC in 2012, Diana was a partner at the law firm King & Spalding, leading a litigation and regulatory practice representing a wide range of clients, including professional services firms.
