Allow me to demonstrate.

1. You’ve just finished writing a 20-page term paper.

2. You highlight the entire text to change the font.

3. Instead of pressing Enter you accidentally press Delete.

4. Suddenly, you’re faced with a blank page. All 20 pages disappeared!

5. You don’t panic. You simply press Undo.

6. All 20 pages return. Crisis now averted. You sigh in relief.

Now, if only we could “Control-Z” in the outside world!
