吾国国民：
时唯周二，叙利亚酋长阿萨德氏以神经性毒剂侵凌其无辜黔首，此乃致命之化学武器也。
凡叙利亚之男子、妇人、少年，皆遘此难，或将缓缓致死也。呜呼，其稚子亦难幸免也。此皆上帝之子也，实不应遭此恐怖威胁！
吾遂令美利坚之武装军部空袭叙利亚军用机场，此化学武器之地也。
致命之化学武器将有害美利坚之安全，故必遏制而除之。
叙利亚之阿萨德氏既悖《遏止化学武器公约》，亦违联合国安理会之申令，已黩化学武器，此毋庸置疑也。吾辈欲使阿萨德氏改弦易辙久矣，皆无济于事也，岂不痛哉。
故叙利亚之难民日滋，和平稳定之局面日毁，将危害美利坚并盟国也。
此夜，凡文明之邦，皆可与美利坚同道而行、戮力而为，以遏叙利亚之血腥荼毒，以终恐怖主义，此吾之吁请也。
遘此困厄之世，唯祷之上帝，或赐吾辈之智谋，或安逝者之灵魂。唯美利坚举公义之大纛，则和平终将至矣。
愿上帝垂佑美利坚并世界，特此致谢。

一，西元2013年，阿萨德氏毒杀叙利亚黔首逾一千有四百人，其恶毒堪比萨达姆氏也。故美利坚与俄罗斯乃协议曰：若阿萨德氏再犯，两国将协力打击之。彼俄罗斯者，无信之邦也，后竟坐视阿萨德氏毒杀国民。及至川普空袭叙利亚化学武器基地，俄罗斯反击美利坚之战舰。故普京者，阿萨德氏一丘之貉也。凡声援阿萨德氏者，皆一丘之貉也。
二，初，川普不欲涉叙利亚之事，意欲拒叙利亚之难民于千里之外也。然美利坚之总统非独断乾纲之独夫，而受掣肘于反对派并国会，此美利坚权力协衡之制也。美利坚之军者，久以正义之师著于世，故阿萨德氏再犯荼毒之罪，美利坚之国民皆同仇敌忾，川普不可不察也。
三，阿萨德氏背信弃义之辈也，美利坚忍之久矣，吁请其悬崖勒马久矣。故川普之公告书，或诉之于国际法，或诉之于人类道义，或诉之于上帝，皆以捍卫人权为准绳也，而不欲使叙利亚之黔首受战争之害，此正义之师也，此人类公义之冀望也。
四，方川普之空袭叙利亚化学武器基地，值西朝鲜之酋长来访美利坚。川普明告其叙利亚之事，诚可谓“司马昭之心路人皆知”也。其视酋长之为仇寇，如阿萨德氏同也。
五，北朝鲜酋长之背信弃义，屠戮其民不亚阿萨德氏也。美利坚亦忍之久矣。故叙利亚之化学基地一旦敉平，美利坚之矛头，必将直指北朝鲜也。邪恶轴心若黄俄者、若西朝鲜者，或不欲坐视其毙，则正邪之战将启之，人类公义在此一搏也。

My fellow Americans, on Tuesday, Syrian dictator Bashar alAssad launched ahorrible chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians.
Using a deadly nerve agent, Assad choked out the lives of helpless men,women and children. It was a slow and brutal death for so many. Even beautifulbabies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack. No child of godshould ever suffer such horror.
Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria fromwhere the chemical attack was launched. It is in this vital national securityof the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemicalweapons.
Here can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violatedits obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging ofthe UN Security Council. Years of previous attempts at changing Assad'sbehavior have all failed and failed very dramatically.
As a result, the refugee crisis continues to deepen and the regioncontinues to destabilize, threatening the United States and its allies.
Tonight, I call on all civilized nations to join us in seeking to end theslaughter and bloodshed in Syria and also to end terrorism of all kinds and alltypes.
We ask for god's wisdom as we face the challenge of our very troubledworld. We pray for the lives of the wounded and for the souls of those who havepassed. And we hope that as long as America stands for justice, that peace andharmony will in the end prevail.
