来自英国的设计师Lauren Bowker真的发明了一款能随时变色的染发剂。
Lauren Bowker has created a hair dye that changes colour depending on the temperature of the surroundings. The hair dye is called FIRE, and is available in multiple colour ranges from bright red to more subtle colours.
Lauren Bowker发明了一款染发剂，能让头发随周围温度变幻颜色。这款染发剂名叫Fire，包含的颜色是从火红到更加微妙的一系列色彩。
这种梦幻效果是怎么实现的呢？Bowker解释道：
“When heat hits the pigment, or if the cool hits the pigment, it changes the bonds of the chemistry to give you a different colour, so it’s like a chemical reaction.”
当染发剂遇热或遇冷时，其中的化学键就会改变，呈现出不同的颜色，这其实就是一种化学反应。
When the temperature drops or rises, the carbon-based molecules at the core of the FIRE dye undergo a reversible reaction.
当气温降低或身高，Fire染发剂中以碳为基础的化学分子就会产生一种双向可逆的反应。
如果你觉得这种染发剂已经够神奇了，Lauren Bowker表示他们还在研究一款更酷炫的：
“We also work with ones that change their structure, which gives you a light refraction instead, so it’s more like a prism colour change. ”
我们还在研究一种能改变其质地的染发剂，给头发带来一种光泽反射效果，看起来更像棱镜光谱变色。
据了解，这种染发剂维持的时间不是很长。
The application of the dye is said to be semi-permanent, lasting over a few washes.
这种染发剂据称是半永久性的，洗几次就会药效就消失了。
