“江南与艺术社会史”是“江南”与“艺术社会史”两个范畴的有机结合,两者既彼此独立,又相互关联。江南研究,专指对江南区域的文化、政治、社会与经济等领域所做的全面考察,内涵深刻,所涉广泛。在数代学者的耕耘下,“江南学”已成为区域研究的典范,亦为国际汉学界长期关注的热点。社会史与艺术史的贯通,是艺术学与社会学在各自的学科嬗递中拓展出的新路径,其本质是以艺术为探究的本体,以社会为考察的视野,以史学为学术的手段。从社会与文化层面揭橥艺术发生、演变与流播的脉络,廓清艺术与社会的内在关系。“江南与艺术社会史系列学术讲座”,既注重挖掘区域特征,也力求突破地理畛域,跨越学科边界。讲座将对接学术前沿,邀约学界杰出学者进行理论探讨,形成学术对话。讲座由“名家系列”与“先锋系列”两类组成。
The lecture series aims to not only highlight the distinctive features of the Jiangnan region but also transcend geographical limitations and disciplinary boundaries. “Jiangnan and the Social History of Art” represents a cohesive integration of two distinct yet interconnected fields: Jiangnan Studies and the Social History of Art. Jiangnan Studies specifically focuses on a comprehensive examination of the region’s culture, politics, society, and economy, encompassing profound insights and a wide scope. After generations of scholarly dedication, Jiangnan Studies has become a model for regional research and a long-standing point of interest within international Sinology. The intersection of social history and art history offers a new scholarly pathway, evolving from the convergence of art and sociology.
