Miss Grant got an ant in her pants.

ant [ ænt ] n. 蚂蚁

It came up her sock ... and gave her a shock.

sock [ s ɔk ] n. 袜子

It ate her sack lunch ... then went for her punch .

sack [ s æk ] n. 袋子

punch [ pʌntʃ ] n. 潘趣酒，一种用酒、果汁、牛奶混合的饮料

It ran to her chin ... where it sat with a grin.

It ran down her back, then fled to her slacks.

It hurt when it bit. Miss Grant had a fit .

fit [ fɪt ] n. 一阵疼痛

She felt a sharp burn ... so she made a quick turn.

She run in the mud ... then fell with a thud.

She hit a hot wire . Her pants were on fire.

wire [ waɪə ] n. 电线

She got herself wet ... and went to the vet .

vet [ vet ] n. 兽医

He said she was ill ... and gave her a pill .

pill [p ɪl ] n. 药片

The pill did not help. And so she still rants ...

... that she never got rid of the ant in her pants.
