UNLEASH is set to take place in Shenzhen on November 6-13 and we are currently looking for facilitators. This year we seek to increase our focus on the prototyping component of our innovation curriculum and therefore we are hoping to get individuals with experience in this field onboard.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

UNLEASH is a global non-profit initiative addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bringing together youth to collaborate on new solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. Each year leading up to 2030, 1,000 selected top talents from academia, business, and civil society will come together for an immersive 8 days of co-creation and problem-solving to develop innovative solutions to the SDGs. UNLEASH has been supported by hundreds of organisations, including
UNDP, Microsoft, Deloitte, Carlsberg Foundation, Columbia University, and many others.
Facilitators are core to UNLEASH. They work more closely with the talents than anyone else, helping them develop meaningful solutions to the SDG agenda. Facilitators receive training in the UNLEASH curriculum and help talents navigate through the entire innovation process from November 6-11. Facilitators will become part of a global network of partners, talents, facilitators and experts all committed to sustainability agenda and UNLEASH covers all costs for selected facilitators.
UNLEASH is looking for passionate and skilled facilitators to guide teams of talents through the innovation process. Most importantly, the facilitators we are looking for respond to the following level of experience:
Expertise in innovation, design, and/or human-centered design

Specific experience from facilitation.
Documented
track record
from facilitation (preferably within strategy or innovation).
Knowledge of, or experience from
working within
one of the themes presented at UNLEASH.
Facilitators must also have the following skills and motivation:
Ability to help teams of talents
navigate
the innovation process and work through group dynamic issues.
Willingness to
work in a team
of facilitators to lead a group of up to 150 participants.
A hands-on,
experiential
approach to teaching rather than conventional lecturing approach.
Ability to motivate,
energize
and engage talents.
Fluent
in English.
What value does UNLEASH bring to facilitators?
NETWORK:
At UNLEASH facilitators will become part of an extensive network of talents, partnership organizations and other facilitators, and connect with these on a community platform, also after the event.
TRAINING:
In addition to getting a week of hands-on experience in facilitating, all facilitators will go through a training package focusing on innovation, design, and SDG-focused experiential education tools from the UNLEASH innovation methodology to provide them with the right toolkit to facilitate large teams.
VISIBILITY:
Facilitators will be profiled in UNLEASH’s online communications, which has thus far reached +40 million people during the events alone.
SOCIAL EVENTS:
Facilitators are invited to take part in the social events surrounding the event, including for example opening and closing ceremonies as well as cultural activities.
INSPIRATION:
Facilitators get a sneak peak into new cutting edge technologies and business models surrounding the SDGs in an exceptionally innovative environment with China’s tech hub as host.
