Hi everyone! I’m Quincy with freeCodeCamp. First of all, I’m thrilled to announce that I would join DevRelCon in Beijing 2017 over Skype from here in the United States. I’ll talk about our nonprofit freeCodeCamp, and how we built a community that helps people all around the world learn to code for free. I’ll talk about our mission -- to train developers and make sure every city has study groups where experienced developers can help other new developers build their skills together. And in the process, these developers can help nonprofits in their communities.
大家好！我是freeCodeCamp（创始人）Quincy。很高兴我将参加在北京举办的中国首届开发者关系大会，到时候我会在美国，通过Skype发表演讲。我会和大家分享：我们的非营利项目freeCodeCamp，我们是如何建立一个帮助世界各地的人们免费学编程的社区，以及我们的使命——培养开发者，并努力促使每座城市都建立起学习小组，有经验的开发者可以在学习小组里帮助新手提升技能。同时，开发者们聚集在社区中，为更多非营利组织贡献力量。
I wanna thank DevEco for organizing this event and for inviting me. I got to know Miya and Jack last April when they reached out to me, and since then, they’ve led freeCodeCamp’s effort to help people in China learn to code. Thanks to their hard work and the work of all the local community members and volunteers in China, more than 40 thousand Chinese people are now learning to code for free and have supported communities where they can learn together.
感谢猿生态举办此次大会，并邀请我参与。2016年4月，我认识了Miya和Jack，也是从那时起，他们将freeCodeCamp引入中国，帮助人们学习编程。感谢他们的付出，以及所有城市社区学员和志愿者们的努力，目前中国已有4万多人（在这个平台上）免费学习编程并在当地组建社区、共同学习。
Coding is a skill that everyone should develop in the future. It will help you understand the technology around you and make the full use of its power. Even if you aren’t working as a developer yet, I strongly encourage you to attend DevRelCon with me and join us.
